This becomes possible only when the pupils are able to experience knowledge as pure existence rather than the transient. When the Guru leads the disciple to experience the values of everyday life, the disciple is encouraged to regard that these values, experienced by different individuals, are not different but part of the Being that binds all beings in the universe. This fundamental unity of existence and experience is the essence of Dasoha Darshan. Here, the search and the end of every human pursuit converge in the fulfilment of the cause, experiencing the pure existence that transcends the trivialities which is possible only through the right education.

Situated in the heart of the city of Kalaburagi the pangs of the people have been heard by the Great Appaji, Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appa, who became the torch bearer of education in the Northern Karnataka especially Kalaburagi.
Carrying along the legacy of the visionary, we have been successful in producing excellence in all areas of our pupil’s development, beyond texts and beyond classrooms, an experience that would last a lifetime. Understanding the paradigms of the times, the students were given a gamut of opportunities for acceleration of social, emotional, intellectual, and cultural quotients which produced, every year, a large number of students successfully qualifying the JEE and NEET.
Thus I could say, we have carried that pre-eminence on to its logical end, its teleology, both intrinsically and extrinsically. Now that we have passed the baton to our front runners, we take it as a thing of joy to see that the fruits of the hard times have been shared by all, like the fragrance of an unseen wild flower that emits its scent selflessly with all humility.

Education opens up avenues of transformation not just for a community but for the entire society in all aspects of their lives. The Sangha from its very inception has been striving to provide the region of Kaylan Karnataka the much needed momentum in education. I would rather say the future schools of the Kaylan Karnataka are not built today, nor will that be in the future, but it had already been built in the past. The progeny of momentum that started years ago by Sharnbasveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangha now bears the fruits with the strength to translate the vision of the Sangha into reality. Ever since the Sangha came into existence in 1903, it has been engaging in preparing the educational and cultural spheres of the region to redesign it into a developed region and its people into resourceful and efficacious individuals. The continuous, assiduous and untiring effort of the Sangha is an assurance that proclaims ‘the harvest never stops, nor the process of seeding.’

If you have ‘never seen’ the astounding beauty of the horizon, you just need to close your eyes and meditate for a moment. The whole universe will appear in front of you. The act of closing the eyes is an act of opening your inner eyes. Education is a process of opening the inner eyes. The very beginning of education is questioning. A question involves thinking – a reflection of anything that one encounters in a multitude of life’s environments. This reflection presupposes perceptions of the existence of being around the other. It is essentially a revelation of the existence of the self and the other (being), living or non-living. Hence, a question is both realization of one’s self and the other; in either case, it can be termed as a revelation. Questioning further essentially leads to ‘the why’, ‘the how’, and ‘the where’ of the beings. Answers to these questioning shall make one what s/he want to become, a doctor, engineer, scientist, social activist, administrator, or any other.
Hence the key to education is questioning as it becomes prefatory to reveal the less known realms of life. The interesting aspect of questioning is that each questioning that sets in motion a reflection triggers further questioning and becomes the foundation for subsequent revelations. The revelation indicated here is knowledge itself. Hence questioning becomes the sui generis of development, intellectual, and physical and metaphysical.
Questioning is enabling and ennobling factor here. It’s enabling because it enables an individual to actualize one’s potential and acquire further potential. It’s ennobling because it makes one’s existence valuable both for one self and for others. That is to say, education is a continuous search characterized by questioning leading to discovering the self – ENLIGHTENMENT.
The individuals in pursuit of helping the young ones should learn the art of questioning and help their pupils to question anything that comes to their spheres of observation. Hence the essence of teaching and learning is QUESTIONING, the Sui generis of education.
