The Civil Service Examination (CSE) foundation course at APS starts from Grade VI onwards and over the years the students will be familiarized with the structure, syllabus, and process of the CSE, with particular emphasis on UPSE making it easy for pupils to enter into the world competition and Civil Service Exam preparations.
The course is exclusively designed for school students to help them develop attitude and aptitude for the CSE/UPSC and its preparations. The structure of CS Foundation Course CSFC has been designed in such a way that students coming from different backgrounds can easily understand the demand of the Civil Services Examination. A grade VI student will have almost no idea about the structure and pattern of the examination. Though the CSFC has been designed to suit different age groups, we believe teaching up can certainly help the pupils come up to the expectations, besides being able to perk up the expectations themselves. We at APS call it a foundation course since it aims at paving a strong foundation, both in terms of a child’s attitude and aptitude towards the competitive examinations.
School Management always keeps abreast with the changing trends in education. It makes every effort to benefit the student community by availing them of the latest technology in education. Breaking the monotony in classroom teaching, the school has introduced Computech aided education. It makes the virtual blackboard in the classroom an audio-visual board, wherein the students can learn from 3-dimensional figures and animations. The teacher’s innovative touch will make learning more interesting and absorbing.
APS educational policy is formulated by incorporating the fundamentals of a sports academy. Sports education as part of our curriculum design is spread across the foundational stage, preparatory stage, middle, and higher secondary classes. The sports activities at APS are a pleasant experience, a window opening to umpteen professional opportunities. Instead of incongruity, it complements academic performance because it inculcates qualities like discipline, leadership, honesty, team spirit, and higher ambition. While the multi-faceted and multi-dimensional sports education at APS is a sign of its recognition of sports as a prime element of the all-around development of its pupils, it also contours sports pedagogy in its approach and attitude.
