APS was founded in the year 2013 under the aegis of the Sharnbasveshwar Vidyavardhak Sangha by Poojya Dr Sharnbaswappa Appa along with his wife and Chairperson of the school Mathoshri Dr Dakshayani S Appa with the vision of providing state of art educational facilities for the people of Kalaburagi.

The visionary of the founders also purports to inculcate through improvising, adopting, and overcoming the educational stagnation of the people of the by facilitating and integrating the best educational practices of global perspectives. The school gives paramount importance to value education which seeks to blend the Dasoha educational darshan with present-day excellence of educational and social spheres. It integrate into its educational practices the celebration of 10 core values – Cleanliness, Humility, empathy, respect, truthfulness, accountability, integrity, confidence, perseverance, and dignity of labour over an academic year with a variety of programmes and activities.
