Steps/Procedures

Parents Aspiring to admit their ward to APS should be aware of :

A) School rules and regulations; B) Begining of the new academic session; C) Vision, Mission & Ethos of the school; D) Teaching and Learning Styles; E) Activities, Uniformrules, etc..

ADMISSIONS are offered to Kindergarten (Nursery, LKG & UKG), and Classes I to XII subject to availability of seats and eligibility.

Parents who wish to apply to APS can either download the prospectus or obtain the registration form from the school office by paying the prescribed cost directly/online/DD drawn in favour of APPA PUBLIC SCHOOL, payable at Kalaburagi. The application can also be downloaded from the school website https://appapublicschool.com/admissions/

Steps

Registering the names at the school office
Meeting the admission counsellor on a the given date
Buying the Registration Form and filling it up
Verification of the filled form and submitting the filled up RF along with all required documents
Collecting the hall ticket for test/interview/ on the same day of verification and submission of the RF
Admission Test/Interview
Admission test result and publication of the select candidate list
Face to face interview with the Principal or competent authority if selected
Payment of all the necessary fees and collecting the Admission Form (AF)
Filling up the AF and submitting it with all the necessary documents and photographs.
Verification of the AF and documents
Submission of the AF after verification
Collecting information regarding opening day, (Starting the class) transport, school timings, books, uniform, etc.

Admission Rules and Regulations

1. Frist Come, First Served: Students are admitted on a first come first served basis depending on vacancies.
2. Time for Admission Registration: Parents/Guardians seeking admission for their wards shall apply in the month of January with the prescribed registration fee.
3. Que System: The entire admission process and the eligible candidates will be put through a que system that applications are approved according to the score attained by the candidates from highest to the lowest.
4. Admissions are made either in entry class or in any other class.
5. Registration Form: Parents need to obtain registration form and submit it to the Admission Counsellor (AC) to be considered for admissions.
6. Test/Interview. All eligible candidates will be asked to undergo the process of test/interview or both test and interview depending on the Grade applied to.
7. Only the candidates who have had their names registered will be eligible to sit for the admission test. Admission test is compulsory for all candidates seeking fresh admission to school. No candidate will be admitted unless he/she has appeared in the test and qualified for the class to which admission is sought and only the candidate who qualifies in the test could enter further process of admissions.
8. Application Form: Parents who have registered their ward for admission through the registration form will be asked to buy the Admission Form (AF). AFs once issued cannot be returned nor the cost of Admission Form refunded.
9. Filling the AF:

i) The school admission form should be duly filled and submitted to the appropriate desk. Parents/Guardians are instructed to fill-in the admission forms with utmost accuracy.
ii) No changes will be permitted thereafter, for any reason whatsoever.
iii) Incomplete applications will be rejected.
iv) The personal data entered in the admission form should be same as in the other documents like the birth certificate, TC, and Aadhaar Card.
v) If the name and other details are different in a document which is required to be submitted along with the completed admission form, the applications will be rejected.
vi) The father’s name and mothers names should be same as shown in their documents.
vii) Spelling of name of Student/Mother/Father/Guardian should be as is recorded in the Birth Certificate and maintained as per Birth Certificates, Aadhaar Card, Admission and Withdrawal Register by the school.
viii) Date of Birth should be as per the Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Admission and Withdrawal Register maintained by the school.
ix) No abbreviations should be given. Expanded name of student and Mother/Father/Guardian should be given.
x) When the visiting a country, it is required to have both name and surname. Hence, surname should be mentioned in the data along with first name.
xi) No nick/pet name should be mentioned.
xii) Date of Birth certificate should have been issued within stipulated period as mentioned in the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969.

10. Payment: Once the school fee paid, the admission is confirmed and the parent will receive the school books, uniform, and school diary which will inform you about further formalities school rules and regulation. The fees should be paid within 2 days if the verification is passed.
11. Cancellation of Selection: Delay in payment would result in cancellation of the admission process and admissions will be rejected.
12. No Refund: The fees paid shall not be returned under any circumstances whatsoever.
13. Exclusive Discretion of the School:

14. School Session: The school session is from April to March.
15. TC: A transfer certificate will be required from the candidates coming from another school.
16. School Rules: A parent who seeks admission at APS ipso facto accepts all the rules and regulations of the school and ignorance of the rules and regulations of the school shall not be considered an excuse.
17. Textbooks: If the textbooks are not available during the admission process, the parents will be intimated about the date and time of uniform and textbook issue.
18. Allotment of the Divisions: Your ward will be allotted the section on the day of admission. The choice of the allotment of the Sections/Division and changes are as per the school rules and regulations. The parents are not expected to make a demand for a particular section/Division.
19. Joining: The students admitted to a class should join the school in the first day of the schooling itself.
20. Admission Procedure (Class- IX): Grade IX admissions applications should follow the procedures as prescribed by the Board apart from the school admission procedures.
21. No guarantee: Submission of completed application form is not a guarantee for admission at APS.
22. Your application can be rejected at any point in time of the application process if the management observes the application unsuitable.
23. Test / Interview: All applicants should undergo a necessary test or interview or both in core subjects failing which the application would be rejected forthwith.
24. The admission test result should fulfill the conditions or criteria as may be established by the school management or reviewed from time to time to qualify for admissions at APS.

All photocopies should be submitted along with the originals for verification. Guardians can sign the papers only if both the parents have passed away/bedridden/not in the country.
